29 May Creamy Green Smoothie
Ingredients

1 cup milk

2 cups spinach (about 2 handfuls)

2 scoops vanilla protein powder

½ ripe avocado

3 dried figs
-
2 Tbs chia seeds

1 Tbs maple syrup
-
8 ice cubes (~1 cup)
Preparation

Pour the liquid (milk) in the blender first. Then add additional ingredients.

Blend until smooth.

Pour into 24oz glass or mason jar.
Tips
To make non dairy substitute the non dairy beverage of your choice.
Add more liquid depending on desired thickness.
It helps to soak the dried figs in the milk prior to blending so they absorb the liquid and mix easier.
I love this recipe because you’re incorporating all the macronutrients (carbs, fat, protein) as well as fiber, fruit and vegetables. Home run!
