13 Nov Time is Running Against You
TIME is one of limiting factors I hear people say about making positive health changes for themselves.
I agree with you, time is one of your most valuable assets and precious commodities. But are you using your time most effectively?
Are you LIVING your days or SURVIVING?
It is more clear than ever, if we don’t have our health, what do we really have?
Let’s do some quick math (I promise it’s not as hard as your kid’s homework!)
The average life span of a woman is 81 yo
The average lifespan of a male is 77 yo
(as of 2020 per Statista Research Department)
Subtract this number by your current age.
Multiply by 365 (days in the year)
Multiply that number by 0.65 to account for sleep
This equals the average amount of time in days, you have left to live the life you want.
My number is 11,151 days
I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to spend those days with
poor health
constant doctor appointments
taking medication
feeling drained
unfulfilled
exhausted from life
About three years ago, I realized I didn’t have time to let anxiety take control of my overly scheduled life.
I made radical changes, and gave up the comfort and complacency of my current environment and circumstances for challenge, sacrifice and struggle, to ULTIMATELY achieve fulfillment in my goals and life.
Where are you still playing small?
Are you being complacent with your current situation because you are scared of failure and discomfort?
I challenge you to turn your STRUGGLE into PURPOSE.
A purposeful life you are excited to live everyday because you are on a journey of growth and abundance, challenging yourself to continue to grow and improve.
Often times, with my nutrition clients, we are talking about life circumstances, limiting beliefs and current barriers to their success.
Nutrition coaching is SO much more than nutrition, because to achieve long term success you have to look at things holistically. Our environment, circumstances, responsibilities, and past experiences all affect our beliefs, thoughts and actions.
Nutrition is the vehicle, but the air filled wheels are necessary for forward movement.
