Win the Morning Win the Day

Wake up every single day with Intention, Clarity, and Focus.

 

You should know the night before what your MAIN (1-3) targets are for the next day.

 

Wake up EARLY (we don’t hit snooze on our goals) and hit the ground running.

 

My morning routine is quite simple:

 

I wake up and immediately thank God for giving me the day. Not everyone will wake from their sleep today.

 

I like to be the first one awake to capture the stillness of the morning and create clarity around the rest of the day.

 

I make coffee and prefer to have breakfast right when I get up.

 

I journal for 10 min 

 

I take my dog for a walk.

 

Get in some movement/exercise (depending on the day).

 

Then I work off my to-do list

 

PERIOD.

 

Focused and simple.

 

If your morning routine looks more like a complicated math equation, ditch it and focus on what really matters.

NOURISHMENT

MOVEMENT

 

Remember complexity kills success.

 

This can set the tone for the day in a Very Positive Way!

 

Set your alarm 1 MINUTE earlier each day to start waking up earlier to fit in this time.

 

If your mornings are jam packed a night time wind down can also make a huge difference.

 

  • Turn off screens at least 1 hour before bed

  • Do a “brain dump” writing out things on your mind from the day or things you are needing to accomplish.

  • Write down your 3 Main Action Items for the following day

  • Take a bath

  • Read a book you enjoy

 

You Have a Choice every single day to make this the Best Day.
