09 Dec Cheers to 32
This past year has certainly been filled with challenge, adversity, transition, and growth
Chris and I decided to give up GOOD for GREAT
We built a beautiful house, had great jobs, cars and all the “things”
BUT
We knew we were meant for more
We rented out our house and I left my clinical nutrition job to start my own business helping people breakthrough their nutrition and health goals in a sustainable way.
Two weeks after I left my job, we had three large pine trees fall and hit our home causing $100,000 worth of damage. Our tenants had to move out temporarily putting us in a tight financial situation. And one of our cars was totaled from someone hitting it parked.
We could have let these challenges compound and feel totally buried. Instead, we CHOSE to look at this as being PLANTED for future growth.
We are SO incredibly grateful for both our parents to be local and invite us into their homes as we work to live out our passion and purpose.
My husband has supported me to take a huge risk in pursuing my career goals as an entrepreneur. We are moving forward with a huge vision together and that is keeping us motivated. Chris and I see each other about one day a week at this point, which has been super tough.
But we have a greater goal in mind together and that is fueling our fire to work through the challenges with a mutual vision for our future.
Year 32 is going to hold its own challenges but that is how we grow both individually and together. I am excited to continue to push myself out of my comfort zone this year. I am a total introvert so this does not come naturally to me. But I know, to create the impact I want and help others, I need to step outside of my box as well.
One of the greatest things I’ve realized with starting my own business is how much I’ve learned about myself. My strengths, my weaknesses, my self imposed limitations, and my potential. I am in the trenches but that is where it starts my friends, when you want BIG things.
Do you want it ENOUGH?
Do you have a VISION for your upcoming year?
Are you doing the SAME things expecting different results?
Change is hard, it’s uncomfortable, but that’s how we bloom.
Message me if this resonates with you.
Cheering for you!
