I Don’t Have Time

Time is the #1 excuse I hear from people limiting them from moving forward with prioritizing their health and nutrition.

Typically you have made other things that are important to you fit into your busy life…

Exercise classes, frequent social events, Netflix, social media scrolling.

It’s more about shifting your perspective that planning meals and putting your health goals first is something important enough to you to help you feel better and live the life you want.

The heartbreaking part is that I commonly see people with health concerns such as borderline diabetes, high blood pressure and unmanaged weight/limited mobility continue to live a lifestyle that does not align with preventing these conditions from getting worse and landing them in the hospital and on various medications.

Managing chronic diseases is TIME CONSUMING, EXHAUSTING and EXPENSIVE.

Initially building healthy habits requires more thought and effort like any new skill you learn. But having the support, education and guidance to achieve your goals in a way that works for you is the key.

It’s ok if you don’t know where to start. I get it, it can be totally overwhelming.

I help women just like you achieve these goals in a realistic way.

Tips to get started…

  1. Try ordering groceries online. You won’t have to bring the kids in the store or purchase random snacks that you really don’t need.

  2. Cut up fruits and veggies right when you get groceries so they are there and ready when you need them.

  3. Utilize frozen and canned foods. Frozen fruits and vegetables are just as nutritious as fresh (just read label for added sauces). Canned beans and tuna are quick nutrient rich options.

  4. Use processed foods. What?! There are tons of “processed foods” that are great grab and go options; hummus, nut butters, yogurt, canned beans to name a few!

  5. Ask for help. It is so helpful to talk out your schedule and create a plan that works for you. This is super individualized and where my clients tend to appreciate the help most. We all get stuck in a rut!

Send me a message if you are struggling with fitting healthy habits into your busy schedule. This months are only getting busier. The best time to start was yesterday. The second best time is now!
